East Coast College

Client is a four year institution in the State University of New York system with more than 10,000 undergraduate and graduate students.  Manhattan Innovation Lab designed the strategy and plan for business incubation and the office for sponsored programs.  Following an in-depth analysis of the school’s strengths and leverageable assets we crafted a detailed operating business plan, including an innovative financial model, leadership and staffing job models, governance and intellectual property management protocols, marketing plan, and detailed development timeline.  The deliverables from this project provided the  Client with an actionable game plan to test, evaluate, and roll out a fully functioning business incubator, a reengineered grants office, and critical insight to applied research in the business incubation environment.

Texas based Software as a Service Company

Client is an early stage company using a proprietary software development platform to create unique simulation tools for executive management, supply chain managers, and project managers in public and private organizations.  Manhattan Innovation Lab worked with CEO to map out strategic options for company’s future including spinning off certain assets, partnership development, or complete acquisition of existing business operations.  This engagement provided important insight to the challenges faced by young companies with limited resources and capabilities.
